Hi,

Like all medicines, Duodart can cause side effects for some patients. Common side effects include impotence (inability to achieve or maintain an erection), decrease in libido (sex drive), difficulty with ejaculation, breast swelling or tenderness, dizziness and difficulty in sleeping (insomnia).

Flank pain is not due to the drugs. Due to incomplete emptying of the bladder because of prostatic enlargement, there is back pressure on kidneys and may cause pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
