Can Jolessa Control Acne?

Hello! I just started taking the birth control Jolessa in order to regulate my period and I was hoping it would also clear my acne. It has been nearly two months and I have been spotting for the past week and my acne is almost getting worse, specifically around my jawline and chin. Will Jolessa control my acne, and if so how long does it take to see results? Also, is the spotting for so long normal?
