Can Kelnor Intake Be Continued Even After Getting Blood Clots During Periods?

I was told by my doctor to take Kelnor on the next Sunday when my period starts. So when I was on the 4th pill, which is on my 5th day of period, I had heavy bleeding and got two big clots come out. The next day (today) the blood flow seems decreasing, but I still can fine some tiny clots. Do I need to stop the pill or keep taking it?

Hi,

The Kelnor is consisting of ethinyl estradiol to regulate the hormone cycle and the same has to be continued despite passing of 2 large clots of blood as per the direction of your OBGY.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
