Can Kelp Capsules Be Taken By Person Who Has High Blood Pressure?

Is it okay to take Kelp capsules if you are on high blood pressure medication? I am on Diovan. I am 47 years old, weigh 134 lbs., 5 7 tall and have been on blood pressure for approximately 5 years. Both of my parents have high blood pressure, as well as two older siblings.
