Can Keppra, Sertraline And Quetiapine Fumarate Be Taken Together?
My daughter is 34 yrs old. Diagnosis suspected seizure activity. She is taking Keppra 500mg twice a day. This meds is causes depression, loss of appetite, sleep, severe mood swings. Today was prescribed Sertraline 25mg in the morning, Quetiapine Fumarate 25, one or two at bedtime. Also told to take 2 Keppra at bedtime to wean herself of it. I am very concerned that this is too much medication.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You can take all the above mentioned drugs together, they won’t interact with each other and doesn’t affect the efficacy of one another. You can antacids like Pantoprazole for gastritis especially when you are on multiple drugs.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Shinas Hussain
