Can Ketoconazole Be Taken Instead Of Lotronex Safely?

I am a 54 year old female who has IBS with diarrhea. I currently take lotronex. Recently, I was prescribed ketoconazole for a fungal infection. For the two weeks that I was on the medication, I had normal bowel movements. I have been off of it for 24 hours and am back to the loose stools. There was something in the ketoconazole that worked with my system. Can it be taken daily without any problems?

might be drug side effect giving rise to loose motion. take probiotic and vit complex. donot take drug in empty stomach.for ibs have to make life style changes and take food in time. can take omiprazol and uni enzyme.
