Can Klor Con And Maxzide Be Taken Together?

My Endo. just prescribed Klor Con M20, however it interacts with my BP med Maxzide which I take 1/2 pill a day. I run and play tennis and want to make sure that I do the right thing. Should I discontinue the by to get the potassium up and then resume it later?

hi,please let me know your potassium levels.maxzide is a combination of two drugs and is intended to prevent hypokalemia or low potassium.so no issues and you can take both as prescribed by your endo.but if you feel any muscle weakness,spasms,palpitations,once you get your potassium checked.otherwise you can continue both.you can have potassium rich foods.take care.bye.
