Can Lamictal Be Taken While On Abilify And Klonopin?
My sister, who is already on several psychotic mood drugs was just prescribed Lamictal ? by her shrink. She is 70 years old and I am worried. Is this a dangerous drug. She has been on Abilify, Klonopin, most all of them. I think it is anti anxiety? What do you think. Thank you Maureen (older sister)

Hi. You do not state the reason for her to be started on this. Does she suffer from bipolar and has a unstable mood? Lamictal isan anti epilepic drug which is used as a mood stabilizer, more often in bipolar depressed patient or in depressed patient to augment antidepressants.
One of the important things to look for is the development of a rash when on the new treatment. If rash develops stop it immediately
