Can Levogastrol Cause Clots In Menstrual Bleeding?

I have been on Levagastrol 25 TDS, for past 3 days of a 7 days course treatment for chronic gastritis. My periods have started today ,and I have noticed some clots in the bleeding. Is it due to side effect of Levogastrol? If yes, should I temporarily discontinue and resume after periods are over?..
