Can Lisinopril Or Clonidine Cause Kidney Stones?

I have had kidney stones for 6 months and finally got them all out and less than 1 month I have 2 more. The ones in my kidneys were the hardest to finally get out. I take blood pressure medicines, lisinopril and clonidine. Could these be causing the stones? I know it is of the oxylate ? kind.

Hi thanks for asking question.
Both this drug can lead to decrease urine output .but both this not direct causative for stone.
But here is some tips for you to prevent oxalate stone which is more common.
Take low sodium diet.
In your diet calcium should be adequate.or calcium supplement can be taken.
Egg, meat like animal protein is to be restricted.
Spinach , wheat bran , nut like food having high oxalate so avoided in diet.
And ya finally take enough water to produce 2 to 3 litre urine output per day.
Avoid stress.
I hope I have given you best suggestion.
Thanks.
