Can Lithium Cause Faecal Incontinence?

my husband is on lithium and has regular blood draws to make sure he is in the therapeutic range. However, shortly starting the Lithium he began experiencing what I would call leaky body functions . He leaks semen, and sometimes his bowels. Is it the Lithium or something entirely different?
