Can Loestrin Pills Cause Smelly Urine?

Can loestrin birth control make your urine smell really foul? I noticed since I started taking it, my urine's odor has been abnormally strong and foul so I discontinued taking the birth control pills. A number of months later, my urine continues to smell like this. What should I do?
