Can Lorazepam Be Taken For Severe Chest Pain?

Yes I ve been having this very bad chest pain for the past several weeks. My Primary did a EKG and said all look ok however I do have an appt to see my cardiologist in a few weeks....However in the meantime my primary has put me on lorazepam 0.5MG 1 tablet three times a day.

The possibility of cardiac chest pain is very less because you have normal ECG. Sometimes stress and anxiety can also cause a similar kind of chest pain. Lorazepam is also given as anxiolytic. So if your chest pain is due to stress, anxiety then lorazepam will definitely work. So you should take lorazepam and avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.

Don't worry, you will be alright with all these. You can also apply warm water pad on affected areas of the chest.
