General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and Welcome.

Taking together it may cause certain harmful effects.

Both the drugs are found to be effective in the treatment of neuropathic pain. However, they should no be taken together.

Taking Gabapentin while on Lyrica (Pregabalin) may increase side effects such as dizziness, exteme drowsiness, confusion, & difficulty concentrating. You may also experience impairment in thinking, judgement, and motor coordination which may result in falls and injuries.

You may request your doctor for an alternate effective and safer drug for the treatment of neuropathic pain.
Hope this answers your query.
