Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 65 YO male and I was recently working out with a wheel rolling it out and working my abdominal muscles. I pulled a muscle in my scapula and it is excutiating pain radiating down my back and up to my neck on my left side I have lyrica here and was wondering if you suggest this for muscle spasms?
Yes, it's fine to take painkillers like paracetamol, Ibuprofen, and aspirin with pregabalin, assuming these are appropriate for you. Strong painkillers such as codeine and co-codamol and dihydrocodeine can make you feel more sleepy if taken in combination with pregabalin.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
