Can MRI Cause Any Harm To Stents In Blood Vessels Of Heart?

My Dr. requires me to undergo a MRI and I have had 3 stents inserted in my blood vessels by my heart. The operator or the MRI machine wants to know the location of the stents. Can the MRI be hazardous to my health since I do not know where the stents are?

Newewr stents are not affected by magnetic resonance imaging.
Ask your cardiologist about the metal from which your stents were prepared.
