Can MRI Detect Lacerated Median Causing Swelling In Hand After Carpal Surgery?

After Karpal surgery on right hand I healed well. One month later the left hand was done. I saw. a large section that was yellow and protruding.Sutures were tight and painful. Pain went from fsite out to fingers up to elbow. Swelling is receeding, wrist has a lump and painful upon bending Would an MRI tell if Median was lacerated.
