Can Maftal Be Taken To Bring Down Body Temperature When Suffering From Flu?
I took Augmentin 625 for treatment of flu. When I felt fever I took 1 tablet of Paracetamol 500mg too but my fever has not come down. after 4 hours I am still at 101.5 degree. Please suggest if I can take Maftal Tablet to reduce temperature right now and see the doctor tomo morning.

If this is flu then this is due to virus, what the medicine you are taking "Augmentin" is antibiotic and this wont work here and this is not advisable, let the fever finish (runs) course till be patience have complete bed rest drink more water, "Acetaminophen is the drug of choice but this need to be taken in high grade fever, hope this information helps, take care.
