Can Melatonin And Benadryl Be Taken Together?

I ve just taken Benadryl for my hay fever and then took melatonin for a good night sleep which I don t normally take but have had once 3mg a couple of months ago. It then occurred to me that the Benadryl people say has a sedative effect not that it has affected me in that way. Should I be worried?

Hi,

You can safely take Melatonin and Benadryl together. However, keep in mind that you might experience excessive sleepiness while combining these two drugs.
