Can Meprate Be Taken For Delayed Periods?

hello dr i got ma last periods on 27-6-2015 and i had sex with partener on 6th july and we r not sure that semens goes inside and always ma periods cum regulally before 1 week on time , so this time its almost 27 days are gone , so should wait till 27/7/2015 or i take tab meprate pls advice urgently

Hi,

You need to get a pregnancy test done since you have missed your periods. In case of negative results, meprate can be taken for 5 days. If the test is positive and you do not want to continue, it is essential to visit a doctor and medically terminate your pregnancy. Meprate is not used for termination of pregnancy.
