Can Metamucil Help To Ease Severe Constipation?
I am severely constipated. I have been for several weeks. I took laxatives and that helped but then when I quit taking them I cannot have a bowel movement again. My stomach is very uncomfortable. I went to the doctor last week and she said to take Metamucil. That isn't helping either. What should I d?

Carry on with Metamucil and in addition do the following....
Drink plenty of water
Take green vegetables and fresh fruits in plenty
Do regular exercises like walking and yoga
Do these things regularly because it would really take time for your system to become normal.
