Can Metformin Cause Headache, Bloating And Tender Breasts?

Please type your query here...i had an internal scan on my ovaries on 8th december i saw my doctor on the 11th and she said that during my scan i had a fully developed egg ready for release, so me and my partner had sex that night and again for a few days, i have been on metaformin since december aswell, i also have pcos. my periods have been strange tho i had a very light period within the first 2 weeks of january and then at the end of january i had another bleed but it lasted several hours then whent, then after a few hours it came back and continued to do so for almost a week. i now have tender breasts and feel swollen but dont look any bigger, i feel bloated aswell and have very bad flatulance at times, i get hiccups if i bend over aswell ive had very painfull headaches aswell, could it be a side affect of the metaformin?
