Can Metoprolol Be Broken Into Two Pieces And Taken?

Yes, my mother is on Deltiazam 100 mg. and recently the doctor added 25 mg of Metropolol. She is concerned about taking the entire Metropolol tablet and would like to cut it in half, because in the past she had a problem with the Metropolol (under a former dr. care). Is it ok to cut it in half?

I can understand your concern.
Honestly speaking, metoprolol 25 mg is the lowest dose.
So better not to cut the metoprolol tablet in half.
Take full 25 mg metoprolol without fear as it is not a large dose.
If after taking 25 mg she feels any problem then call her doctor and discuss about taking half dose due to the problems.
Better not to take decide by yourself as this is cardiac drug and can cause harm.
