Can Metoprolol Tablets Be Used Along With Dorzolamide HCUI Timolol Maleate Drops?

I am currently taking 25 mg of Metoprolol Tartrate tabs for an irregular heart beat, my new eye doctor has prescribed Dorzolamide HCUI-Timolol Maleate one drop in each eye twice a day every day because of my glaucoma. Aren't they both beta blockers and is it safe to use both the eye drops and take the the Metoprolol every day?
