Hello,

Since you are 46 you should take natural forms of vitamins and minerals present in the food. It will get easily digested and assimilated without side effects or dangers of interactions. However, if you are taking it as supplements you should not take all the medicines / supplements at a time. It may cause digestive problems, loose motion and gastritis. Never take medicines when you are taking alcohol it will harm you more than help you.

Maintain difference in time (couple of hours) to avoid adverse effects and interactions. You can take some supplements weekly or just twice in a week. It is important for your body to absorb it then get adverse effects and cause you discomfort. Do not depend on excess medicines but on natural food to boost immunity.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
