Can Minocycline Cause Vaginal Itching?

I have been minocycline 100 mg 2x per day since 11/9 and now am experiencing vaginal itching. my dermatologist office is closed for the holiday. I have already used Monistat but it really doing much to relive the itching. Should I go to the urgent care to get a prescription now or wait until Monday wen the office opens again? What would the urgent care center do for me?

Hi,
Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. I have seen many cases with similar complaints. Please find my advice below-:
1)Complete full course of Monistat
2)Take Flagyl 500mg 3 times a day for 7 days
2)Use Premarin vag cream
3)Do not take antibiotics for prolonged periods of time which damages normal bacterial flora.
