Can Mondeslor Be Taken For Allergy?

Hello doctor, I am dhruv gupta 21 year old and have a history of ENT problems. I was diagnosed with scoliosis way back when i was 14 and has been regularly visiting allergists, ENT specialists and physicians. Problems keeps on revolving around rhinosinusitis, broncho allergy, sinusitis and associated fever. Currently last night on 3rd september 2015 around 4 am woke up and was feeling breathlessness. I took a puff of foracort 400 as it was prescribed to me earlier and felt better within 2 minutes. For my allergic reactions i take mondeslor once a day. What medication should i take what should i do?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The Mondeslor contains Desloratidine, Monteleukast as generic and widely used for a variety of clinical disorders including hay fever, asthma, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis conditions. Once a day dose is sufficient for mild to moderate conditions, and usually recommended during exposure to allergen, weather changes or else triggering events only.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
