Can Montek 10g Control Recurring Cough During Night?

Hi, I am having continuous cough during night, not able to sleep. I took medicines for one week at that time it was normal, after the completion I got the cough again. This is continuing for more than a month. Yesterday I asked a doctor with my xray result, they asked me take Montek 10g for one month, whether it will control my cough during night.

1. Montek (montelukast) is a Leukotriene inhibitor used in the prophylaxis of controlling night cough associated with Asthma and/or Allergy but since nocturnal cough is a Psycosomatic problem this tranquillity of mind is important.

2. Also look for other hidden cause like worm,allergy,filariasis.
