Can Mucinex Be Taken While Suffering From Glaucoma?
I take quinapril twice a day for high blood pressure Prozac for anxiety and eye drops in the right eye at night for glaucoma. I ve been taking Advil Cold and Sinus all my life and never read the instructions. Now I m taking Mucinex night time and I just saw you re not supposed to take it for if you have glaucoma. What s the worst that could happen if I continue taking it?

mucinex is not related to treatment of glaucoma. for glaucoma can use drops like atenelol and tab like diam ox if not controlled then surgery is only option. in your case trabeculectomy is recommended. ultimately treating doctor is to decide option.doctor is to decide about contradiction of drugs at the time of prescription. have faith in doctor and take the medicine according to advise.
