Can Mucinex Give A False Positive Result On Drug Test?

Hey doc I took mucinex dm today cause I had a lot of sticky flem in my throat that would not clear and I have a drug test coming up in about ten days. well after I took it I went online to find out this can some times show a false positive on a ua screen. I was just wondering how long will this take to not show a false positive basicly should I be worried or no? Im not going to continue taking it after this point cause im scared to death. Any help is appreciated thanks.

Mucinex no. The decongestant in mucinex with decongestant certainly can cross react with amphetamine testing as they are almost the identical chemical. It would clear in the same amount of time as a real test .. about 3 to 5 days.
