Can Neosporin Be Applied On The Scaly Vaginal Skin?

i have a yeast infection and i have taken diflucan twice and monistat once i have been applying the cream everyday several times a day this has been going on for a week now it has been so raw down there my skin has split open a little like a little cut. can i apply neosporin to that area without it making the yeast infection worse?

Hello,

If there is signs of infection like redness and tenderness you can apply Neosporin ointment directly to the affected region. It’s a good local antibiotic and has got good results. Keep the area dry to prevent further infection.
