Can Nexito Along With Effitas Cause Side Effects In A Depression Patient?

Good Morning,I had quite a diffucult past and have been struggling against periodic Light depression.however, this time, it s seem more diffucult to overcome.I was and still, taking EFFITAS 37.5 daily , with an increase dose of 75 mg when feeling down.This prescription had been prescribed to me some 7 years later afer my husband death.By my general practitioner.As i am going through a longer or worst period of depression, i consult another Dr who prescribe Nexito 10 mg once daily in combination with the effitas reduced dose of 37.5.I read a lot about NEXITO but i will appreciate a sharper answer.except being an antidepressant drug, what are the effects and side effects / can it be taken in combination of EFFITAS 37.5 ?Thank you for your Answer IsabelleI

Hello,

Since you had been taking Effitas for a very long duration do not stop taking it all of a sudden for it may cause withdrawal symptoms. Effitas is addictive.

Take medications as prescribed by your treating doctor. Since Nexito has been added to your prescription, you should keep the treating doctor informed of all the other medications you might be taking.

All medicines have side effects that show manifestations when you become weak, dehydrated & stressed up.

Take nutritious food rich in calcium, iron & vitamins. Take high protein diet to avoid any side effects. Stay well hydrated. Take adequate sleep.
