Can Nexium Be Taken While On Clopidogrel?

My husband is taking clopidogrel, he was taking nexium but was advised not to while taking clopidogrel. We are looking for a stomach acid reducer that will not interact with the clopidogrel but still give my husband relief My email address: YYYY@YYYY Thank you very much

thanks for the query..
According to FDA guidelines clopidogrel and nexium are not be taken together as nexium decreases the effect of clopidogrel.
As an alternative you can take ranitidine hydrochloride 150 mg tablets (ZINETAC) 2 times a day..
Consult your treating doctor in case of any doubt..
