Can Norco Cause Hypoglycemia?

I am a type 1 diabetic and have noticed that when I have to take pain meds, I tend to become hypoglycemic. I have a broken foot and take one Norco before bed to alleviate the pain of the sheets on my foot. I always wake up about 3 hours later with sugar in the low 50 s. Is this normal?
