Can 'Nordette' Contraceptive Cause Dizziness Or Abdominal Bloating?

Before I started on any oral contraceptives it has been almost 12years not on any method because I have the potential of weight gain but struggling with severe dysmenorrheaI when I'm having my monthly menses. I opted for Microval as it is a low dosage contraceptive then I experienced extreme nausea without vomitting and severe dizziness, I stopped using Microval as a contraceptive method. Then I started am currently using (Nordette) and they cause me to have dizziness ,I feel thirsty and abdominal bloating I changed taking them from in the morning to taking them at night...should I discontinue them or not?

Yes, dizziness and bloating sensation are among the common side effects of nordette.
Usually these symptoms will subside after few weeks of intake of pills.
You can continue taking the tablets in the night.
This can avoid dizziness.
By taking the tablets after food bloating sensation can be decreased to some extent.
If symptoms persist, you can take symptomatic treatment to give some relief with your doctor's advice.
