Can Norethisterone Be Taken For Delayed Periods?

hi. my question is my regular period date was 18th january but today is 16 february. It already about 2 months my period not started yet. can i use norethisteron 5 mg tablet and how much doses it needs? I have never used any types of tablets before for this purpose. Thank you

Hello,

You can go for a urine pregnancy test to check whether you are pregnant or not.

If UPT is negative you can consult a gynaecologist and start on hormonal pills to induce bleeding. Do not use norethisterone for this condition.
