Hi & Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your situation
In order to delay the menses Norethisterone pill should be taken 5 mg twice/ thrice daily as long as you want to delay your period (max 2 weeks). You will get a withdrawal bleeding within 5 to 7 days of stopping pills.
It can cause nausea, gastric upset, headache, breast heaviness, etc.
All the side effects are mild and well tolerated.
Kindly consult your doctor regarding the removal of the contraceptive implant and to take complete prescription with dose.
Hope this will help.
