Can Norethisterone Pill Cause A Delay In Menstrual Period?

I have taken norethisterone the beginning of last month for 11days three times a day as I was going on holiday. Im not on any birth control and I had a period for a couple of days after I took them I was due to have my period a week ago and havnt yet seen one I've done a pregnancy test and it's negative can this pill effect my monthly cycle
