Can Occupul D Be Used For Sudden Redness In Right Eye ?

A Very Gud Morning, All of a sudden just 30 minutes ago my right eye has gone red, i rinsed it with saline water, it is still red. My dog too has his right eye inflamed for the past 3/4 days. Is it contagious. I have ocupol D can I use it. Please let me know how to go about. Thanks

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having sudden onset of redness in eyes.
This seems to be like infective conjunctivitis.
Ocupol D consists of antibiotic with steroid in the form of dexamethasone and should be avoided as it will increase the infection.
Only antibiotics like only ocupol without D can be used.
