Can Omeprazole Cause Bad Cough, Sore Throat And Muscles, Dizziness, Appetite Loss?

my doc put me on 80MG of omeprazole a day. I have been takeing them for a 5 days now and I have developed a bad cough, sore throat, sore muscles, dizziness, and loss of appatite. I guess it could be cowincedence that I got sick about the time i started takeing them, but could these be adverse side affects as well. Also I was reading online that people should not be takeing more the 40MG a day so am I overdoseing myself on this stuff?
