Can Omeprazole Or Metoclopramide Be Taken For The Treatment Of Upper Abdominal Pain?

I was in the ER yesterday with pain in my upper abdomen they gave me Metoclopramide 10mg 4 tabs a day but I already take Omeprazole 40mg 1 time a day.Can I just take one or the other? I don't want to add to med I want to reduce my intake of meds.

* The Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor used for gastritis, burning, upset stomach issues.
* The Metoclopramide works as an anti emetic to control vomiting, nausea.
* Neither of two are for pain control.
