Can Onabet Help In Treating White Patches On Back And Hip?

My daughter has fungal infection on her back ie white patches all over her back up to her upper hip. She was told to apply Onabel lotion twice a day for the first 2 week and then once a day for the next 2 weeks. The lotion was applied on the white patches mainly. 2 months later some of these white patches have disappeared but quite a bit is still visible on the back which now has a darker tan than earlier. Will this tan disappear with the patches or should we apply Onabet for a week or so again. Please advise. Thanks
