hi there, PCOD is caused due to a disruption in the normal balance of hormone estrogen and progesteron production by the body which affects the ovaries, uterus and gives rise to the acne that you seem to be suffering from. Weight gain, ungainly hair growth over the face and torso and scalp hair loss are a few other effects of the same. There are hormonal therapy for this condition which a gynecologist will be able to put you on which will control most of your problems. Acne is sometimes intractable and local application of lotions and creams with retinol are recommended. You should also consult a dermatologist for the same before taking any medication.Take care
