Can Paracetamol Cause Drowsiness?

trying to find out why paracetamol caused such extreme drowsiness last time I took it. I have flu and should take something to help the symptoms. Also want to clear up the possible reasons as I know this is the standard pain killer given in hospitals and so could be given it by mistake at some point in the future.
