Can Percocet Be Taken For Severe Inflammation In Knee?

I have been taking diclofenac 75 mg twice a day for about six weeks. ( severe inflammation in knee). I have to attend an important event & I have had a setback with the pain. Is it okay to take one Percocet to get through the day. (Woman 72 yrs. old. -very healthy-I take only eye drops)

You would need to make sure that you do not have side effects of nausea or sedation before taking it to attend an event. If you do not have side effects it would be okay to take it short term
