Can Perinorm Be Given For An Infant?

Hi my paediatric has recommened my baby perinorm for her gastroesophagael reflux and I read that it should not be given to the children below the age of 18. Is it safe for me to give her perinorm? My doctor has given her perinorm 8 drops 3 times a day for a week please advice.

As per my surgical experience, the perinorm is usually not advisable due to potential side effects of extra pyramidal symptoms. Though not strictly contraindicated , it can be used in infants with caution under strict medical supervision. Kindly discuss regarding better and safe alternative as vominil or others with his pediatrician to avoid such agony.
