Can Plan B Usage Cause Irregular Periods?

so me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex a couple weeks ago and i took plan b one step and it happened again yesterday and i am sure i got the sperm out yesterday but im bout to start my period and get on birth control should i take plan b again ? and will it mess up my period ?
