Can Predinose Cause High Fever And Sore Throat?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... Hi.. I was put on Prednisone dose back for inflammation type arthritis. I stopped the dose on Thursday as instructed from the taper. Yesterday I awoke to a sore throat and today a have a fever of 101 and feel pretty yucky. Do you think it is a reaction to the prednisone or one of the many bugs going around?
