General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to health care magic...

I can understand your concern...

For asthma which is allergic disorder you are given inhaler that contain bronchodilator as well as steroid. ..It is taken daily as maintainance therapy...

You are given short term steroid also which will abort acute attack that you have.

If you will regularly take inhaler than you will improve....

Daily record of your peak flow needs to be taken using peak flow meter...

When acute attack occurs levolin and budecort respule nebulization can be given..

If you are searching for permanent solution than consult allergic specialist for doing allergen test and special therapy like immunotherapy if suitable...

Take care

Hope this will help
