Can Prednisone, Benadryl And Zyrtec Be Taken Together For Hives?

I have hives that emerged overnight. They are all over my body, and particularly on my lip, which is swollen. I have prescription Pregnisone (20 mg), which I have not yet taken because I already took Benedryl and Zyrtec. Can I take Predisone and Benedryl and Zrtec together?

Hi.
As per your case history of hives, my treatment advice is -
1. Avoid fast food and food with artificial colors for 2 months.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
3. You can take zyrtec, benadryl and prednisone simultaneously.
4. It is advisable to take prednisone only in severe case as it is a steroid with many systemic side-effects.
